I haven't tried to fix this problem I still had with the game and I have been playing Blood Money instead, so I decided to try again. I'm not sure why you would be crashing but it could possibly be windows 8 related. Although I have a friend who's now playing the game on Windows 8.1. So might be a problem with your rig.
